Beginner T1 - £1,200
Designed for smaller venues, where only 'plug and fire' products will be used. This course will focus on the Le Maitre Pyroflash range (T1).
The course lasts 4 Hours and includes:
- Tuition and live product demonstrations, practical use
- Introduction to entry level Firing Systems
- Risk Assessments (understanding and composing)
- Incidents, Accidents & Near Misses
- Storage and ADR
- The Explosive Regulations 2014, RIDDOR, LOLER
- Fire prevention, Risk reduction, Appropriate use of Fire Extinguishers
- *Demonstration of Theatrical Flashes & Stars, Mini Gerbs, Confetti and Flame Projectors*
Please note - To obtain and use T2 Pyrotechnic Articles and become a 'persons with specialist knowledge' our advanced T2 Course must completed.
Advanced T1 - £1,500
The course lasts 6 Hours and includes:
- Tuition and live product demonstrations, practical use
- Introduction to entry level Firing Systems
- Risk Assessments (understanding and composing)
- Incidents, Accidents & Near Misses
- Storage and ADR
- The Explosive Regulations 2014, RIDDOR, LOLER, Working at height regulations 2005, MEWP
- Fire prevention, Risk reduction, Appropriate use of Fire Extinguishers
- Wiring techniques, including series and parallel wiring, Shunting
- Using sequencers and creation of chase looms.
- *Demonstration of Theatrical Flashes & Stars, Mini Gerbs, Confetti and Flame Projectors
- *Demonstration of Gerbs/Jets, Mines, Robotics, Waterfalls, Non-Fragmenting Maroons (Venue Dependant), Microdets, Airbursts

Advanced T2 - £2,000
The course lasts 8 Hours and includes:
- Tuition and live product demonstrations, practical use
- Introduction to entry level & advanced Firing Systems
- Risk Assessments (understanding and composing)
- Incidents, Accidents & Near Misses
- Storage and ADR
- The Explosive Regulations 2014, RIDDOR, LOLER, Working at height regulations 2005, MEWP
- Fire prevention, Risk reduction, Appropriate use of Fire Extinguishers
- Wiring techniques, including series and parallel wiring, Shunting
- Using sequencers and creation of chase looms.

Please note - This course covers 'persons with specialist knowledge', which qualifies you to obtain and use T2 Pyrotechnic Articles, students will be provided with an ID card and, added to the TMH SFX Register of Certified Firers.
